Far and away the best BJJ instructional app for the iPad. No app is a substitute for regular training and learning from an instructor in person, but this one is definitely worth the money.

You def need to check out this app if you are a true jiu-jitsu practitioner or fan of the martial art. So many options for chokes displayed in full detail! Improve you game with simple moves and advanced techniques! I reccomend the step over lapel choke ;) check it out for yourself.

This App is INCREDIBLE! Most of the other BJJ Apps I have are basically two guys on a mat with one camera on a tripod. The sound echoes a bit and the camera angles are limited (no disrespect guys). But THIS ONE? Man, feels like a major motion picture. The video quality is crisp and clean (lots of angles and sick slow-mo). The audio is on point and the techniques are killer with legit instruction. Cant wait to get on the mat and try out my new tricks! Buy this App and you wont be dissapointed - but your training partners might be!

I have been waiting for this one! Professor bill did it again with this insane app. These chokes are amazing. Im proud to day that I have learned most of these chokes from him personally and this app just helps me perfect them. Professor bill is genius with some of these. You dont see them coming til you about to be in sleepy land. Thank you professor! Gbrp for live!

I loved the first BJJ Open Guard App and couldnt wait for another one. This is just stunning! Beautifully shot in HD it surpasses any of the other videos out there I have seen so far. Wow, the chokes and Professor Bills technique are awesome. Nice job. Thanks!

These guys know what theyre doing! This is how to set the bar really HIGH. The clarity/resolution is sweet! The amount of time and narration for each piece if perfect .... no excessive jabber and I really like how each clip starts immediately with a quick presentation of the technique and THEN breaks it down--helpful when you just want a quick reminder, creating no need to fast forward through the piece, although each clip is still within a minute or so. IT WOULD BE GREAT TO BE ABLE TO "FAVORITE" a technique. Although the interface is awesome and very user friendly, being able to bookmark or favorite would allow me to narrow in on those techniques for any given week and then I can change them up as needed. Really cool work, guys!

Easily the best video production and instruction for BJJ I have ever seen. Crystal clear HD, slow motion, various angles and easy steps. For $5 I fixed 5 chokes I have been struggling with for more than a year. And... It is IPad friendly so I can take it with me to the academy, vacation or wherever. More of these please.

Once I saw the preview i told myself i have to DL this app. Not only its on HD but the way the techniques are shown and its well explained and detailed. Specially taught by a world class Bjj practitioner expert professor bill. So if your trying to learn some advance techniques I recommend this app.!!

This app is a must have for any bjj practitioner. The HD video is crisp, clear, and from a cinematic standpoint, stunning. The instructions are clear and the chokes, highly effective. The only thing I can think of that would make this app easier to use is to include the starting position for each choke in its heading, as is done for each of the Brabo chokes. Well done

Im All Choked Up!!

Great vids but does anyone know why after the video is done playing all we get is a white blank screen?

I get a white screen after I play a vid, it worked before I updated, after down loading on cloud now, not so much.please fix. 5 stars before

And I say training aid because this will aid in the training you should already be receiving. If you dont train, you wont learn anything from watching videos. You need to have good understanding of the basics first in order for any sort of video to be useful. But as for the videos in this app, techniques are great and production quality is outstanding. Definitely recommend this to up your BJJ game.

Definately a fantastic app. I had the opportunity to actually work with Professor Bill while in CA as well as Coach Mike and Coach Elliott. And I can honestly say that the classes convey exactly what is on video. Clear and consise no nonsense. Worth every penny, I was actually able to successfully apply a few of these techiques in an open mat session after watching and studying these. I cant wait till they actually further and expand the series.
